Connecticut Open 2014

This year's Connecticut Open, our 55th annual, featured several new champions. Alan Shekhtman from Massachusetts captured his first Men's Singles and Mixed Doubles titles.

Charmaine Reid from Canada, a triple crown winner, took her first Women's Singles title and teamed with six time Women's Doubles winner, Daphne Chang, to top the Women's Doubles field and paired with Alan Shekhtman to take the Mixed Doubles.

Connecticut native, Nikki Vered (now living and coaching in Marblehead, MA) teamed with Ajit Umrani to take his first Connecticut Open Men's Doubles title.

New Jersey's Tomasz Malcharek, entering the Senior events for the first time, was a doubles winner. He teamed with Connecticut's Inder Bhatia in the Men's Doubles and New Jersey's Rie Shibata in the Mixed Doubles to take both titles.
