Connecticut Open 2014

This year's Connecticut Open, our 55th annual, featured several new champions. Alan Shekhtman from Massachusetts captured his first Men's Singles and Mixed Doubles titles.

Charmaine Reid from Canada, a triple crown winner, took her first Women's Singles title and teamed with six time Women's Doubles winner, Daphne Chang, to top the Women's Doubles field and paired with Alan Shekhtman to take the Mixed Doubles.

Players Must Qualify to Compete in 2013 Junior International Trials

USAB announced a change in this year’s upcoming Junior International Trials in Los Angeles.  According to its website, the Junior Advisory Group confirmed that players will have to qualify in order to compete in the trials.  More information is available here.  Key concerns for implementing a change this year have been: safety of its athletes, length of play days, length of tournament, a concern for garnering the best
